Mitchell Weinzetl has been a police officer for over twenty-two years, including more than fifteen years of formal leadership experience. For more than thirteen years, Mitch has been a Chief of Police, serving three different departments in that capacity. He has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Law Enforcement, and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Masters Degree in Organizational Management. Chief Weinzetl has been an ardent student of leadership, and has spent hundreds of hours teaching officers in the areas of Firearms, Use of Force, Specialty Munitions, SWAT, Supervision, and Leadership Development. Mitch is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in adult education and higher learning. Chief Weinzetl has served on several boards of directors on a local, state, and federal level. He is a past Rotary Club president, and is also past president of the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association.
